Kandlerhof-Sauvignon

All of our Sauvignon grapes grow on the pergola at an altitude of approximately 400m. This allows for elegant acidity and a very fruity, at times even exotic, aroma.

Varietal: Sauvignon

Growing area: Pergola growing system on porphyry clay soils in St. Magdalena

Harvest: mid-September

Vinification/Maturation: Fermentation and storage in steel tank

Properties:

color: from light pale yellow to medium golden yellow

aroma: fresh apple and elderberry with light green nuances

flavor: full-bodied, lively and pleasant acidities

Alcohol: ca. 13.5%

Acidity: 6.5 g/l

Serving temperature: 10-12°C

Food matching: Great as aperitif wine and along with starters such as pasta, fish, poultry or asparagus and cheese.
